Reg Charity No. 1093145

KINGSDOWN CAT SANCTUARY

A number of cats in residence are difficult to home for various reasons.

If you would like to help one or more of our long term residents (pictures below), why not sponsor them. It makes a lovely gift (birthdays, Christmas etc). Maybe you know someone who would love to have a cat but for some reason is unable to adopt one.

For a minimum donation of £15 per year per cat the sponsor will receive a certificate, laminated picture of the chosen cat and a quarterly newsletter detailing all the Sanctuary news.

Please write to The Sponsorship Secretary, at 145 Field Avenue Canterbury Kent CT1 1TS (or e-mail karenmshaw@hotmail.com) stating your choice of cat(s) together with a cheque made payable to 'Kingsdown Cat Sanctuary'.

If it is given as a gift please give details of the recipient and the date of when and where the sponsor pack should be sent and any message you would like included.

BERTI came to us in 2001 being part of a feral colony and is very timid - a patient person would very likely be able to win his trust, but he seems quite content with his feline friends.

FLOSSIE came to us in 2001 as a stray aged about 6 months. She is very very timid and although she hisses a lot, she has never scratched or bitten anyone yet!!!

PRIMROSE has been here since 2000. She is a very nice quite cat but very shy. She could become a very nice companion to someone with a lot of patience.

TAZEY

ELLA came to us with her mother and brother in 2004. She was about 3 months old and very unsociable, and sadly still seems to dislike humans. She lives happily with some other cats including her brother who could be homed.

GILLY came here in 2001 and was about 8 weeks old and very shy which she sadly still is. Unfortunately people do not look at the shy cats when wanting to adopt one so she lives with 15 other cats with similar traits, although she is the most elusive one.

KENNY came in from a family home in 1999 but whatever happened there he hates humans and will not be touched - he has very sharp claws as I have found out!! He lives happily with the other anti-human cats

THOMAS

TAZEY, THOMAS, came in with their mum and dad in Sept 2001!!! Sadly they were about 12 weeks old and untouchable. Only Thomas comes any where near and that is only at feeding time!!! The parents were very friendly and found homes within weeks of arriving. They live quite happily with other anti-human cats.
